A ride with Grandpa

McKinley at the top enjoying a ride behind Grandpa....
Lexi next posing for a photo with Grandpa
And last, Avery relaxing with Grandpa

A visit from Grandpa Von Ahn

Grandpa Von Ahn (my dad) came up from Iowa and brought his two horses (Jim and Bob) and we had a little get together with the girls friends. They all went for a hayride.. I don't think we got all the kids on at once, but there were 19 all together! It was a beautiful day and a fun time had by everyone! We certainly wished he lived closer!

The MOVE

The pictures are a little backwards; however I wanted to share with you how this journey began...I already shared that we are living in a shop; however never told the story that we sold our house to another family who chose to move the house off our current site so we could build where the old house stood. The photos below are the move.. From digging to putting it on the trailer to the big MOVE!

The house at its new home...

The house going down the road...and the power lines being lifted...

Our house sitting up on the trailer to head down the road...

The empty hole and our garage standing alone...

Getting the house lifted....

Trying to figure this out...

Well I am hoping I have had some visitors to my blog. If anyone that is reading is an expert, I need help in trying to figure out how to not have so many spaces between my posts. I am sure with time I can possibly figure it out, but if you have a quick answer, I am taking advise.

Life in the Shop

I am sure most of you know that we are in the process of building a house... well, right now we are all living in our shop. I couldn't resist showing everyone a little preview of our new home away from home while our house is "slowly" being built!

The girls room and the laundry all in one...

Getting Started

Hello everyone.... Well it seems like everyone is starting their own blogs, so I thought I would give it a try so everyone can keep up with the Schreurs family.
Ryan and I have been married for 7 years (April 21,2001).. we have been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters.. McKinley Sue is 5, Alexis (Lexi) Kathleen is 4 and Avery Elizabeth is almost 21 months. They definitley keep us busy, but I can't imagine life without any of them.
I just reached my 10th year at US Bank and in February I started a new position in Sales. Ryan continues to be a self employed carpenter and keeps himself very busy!
Enjoy reading our stories!
